A practice analysis to contextualise behaviour, by analysing the current waste disposal attitude and lifestyle of the citizens, as well as the system of provision in which these practices take place.
Municipal Solid Waste Flow Analysis
A flow analysis to identify the flows of urban and rural household solid waste fractions and green waste from public areas. The MSW flow analysis is expected to provide an improved understanding of the characteristics of various waste streams in the city and villages.
Expert Groups
The consultancy work is divided in five expertises. The division helped to ensure a wide, inter-disciplinary coverage of the issues related to household waste management and the development of sound recommendations for Drugi Oktobar.
Infrastructure & Technology Analysis
An infrastructure analysis to identify and assess the existing infrastructure related to the current solid waste management. It identifies existing strengths in the system, which can be used as a base to build a more sustainable system.
Sustainability Analysis
A sustainability analysis to employ different criteria for comparing options for solid waste management. It is based on a multi-criteria analysis, a decision support tool, where various stakeholders have different views on the problem and its solutions, or where various stakeholders have different interests.
